We do not require a formal psyche  assessment or dyslexia diagnosis. Such an assessment costs approximately $2000 and is not necessary for us to be improve the reading fluency and comprehension of a struggling reader. If the student is average to above average intellect, we will get dramatic improvement in as little as 30 hours of training.

We can use the Academy of READING® data to suggest possible clues or hints of dyslexia. For example, if the student struggles with phonemic awareness, sound symbol association and has slow processing speeds in the visual match and auditory-visual match decoding exercises, then they may be dyslexic. Dyslexia affects one in five. There is that many again who are also struggling readers, but not dyslexic. They are reading delayed and also benefit from Academy of READING® training.
